Q: What is CrossFit?
A: CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program characterized by "functional movements that are constantly varied at high intensity." CrossFit incorporates all kinds of exercises, movements, and training to help make you a well rounded person that is strong, fast, agile, and fit for all aspects of life.


Q: What ages and skill levels can do CrossFit?
A: CrossFit is for everyone. Whether you are 10 years old or you have 70 years under your belt, CrossFit can be scaled to your fitness level and abilities. Everyone has to start somewhere. Even if you've never set foot in a gym before, our coaches are well trained to equip you in all of the functional movements that can make up a CrossFit workout.


Q: How in shape should I be before giving it a try?
A: The best way to get in shape for CrossFit is by showing up to CrossFit! As we've said, CrossFit is for everyone, even those starting off from square one in their fitness goals. You don't need to be in shape before starting. You DO need to be willing to show up and give it your all!


Q: What sets CrossFit apart from other fitness programs?
A: CrossFit has several unique qualities that set it apart from other programs. CrossFit's focus on short, high intensity workouts make it an ideal place to push yourself. The variety of movements that make up the program, combined with the intense but encouraging atmosphere create a unique environment that will take you places the treadmill can't. While you're pursuing your goals, you will have a coach to teach, train, correct, and encourage you, and you will have classmates to come alongside you and offer you a push and a word of encouragement when you need it.


Q: What do I need to start?
A: Some gym clothes and flat soled shoes (running shoes will work fine). Bring water and come ready and willing to learn.
